Wesak Day

Hello,

Today is Wesak day in Kelantan. I have been in Kelantan for about 4 months now and started to miss my hometown in KL so much. But I don't really feel bored staying in Kelantan because its my parents hometown and I'm used to it. Eventough theres no interesting places to go shop, I'm OK. Pity to my friends who come and study pilot here because they felt so bored. Just now I went pasar raya Bilal in Kubang Kerian and the things sold there are expensive! So better buy your things in Tesco if you in Kelantan.

I already clock 3 hours in my logbook flying with my instructor in Piper Warrior. I did until straight and level 2 last Thursday, and its very hard to maintain level altitude when theres turbulence. Hopefully I will be good at it one day. When I finished my lesson with my instructor, I had a little chat with him while flying. He ask me about my family, what my father work as, how many siblings I got and wheres my father's hometown. I told my father's hometown in Peringat and that time we were flying above Melor. Then he gave me control of the aircraft and ask me to fly to Peringat and show me my Grandpa's house. I was so excited and I flew there. I showed him wheres my granpa's house, my auntie's house and my own house which was just built. Then he take over the controls and ask me to snap pictures of my father's hometown. I was so excited and thank him for allowing me to do this. So he flew around Peringat few times before we go back to Kota Bharu airport. I was very happy to see how my dad's hometown looks like from above. That night I sent the photos of Peringat from above to my father's and my sister's email. They were amazed looking at the pictures.

That's all I want to say for today, its been a long time I did not update my blog. I don't expect anyone to read this because this is the first post for this year. The last time was last year. For those who already familiar with Peringat, I want to show the pictures taken from above. I know you can always see this from Google Earth but its not updated in there.

My house, Creek House.

My horse track 1000ft from above, looks big from above but its only 1 acre.

Road junction to Peringat. On the right of the junction, you can see my Aunt's house located left of the road.

Okay, hope to see you soon.
