Another horse is ill

If you read my previous post, just want to tell you that Coco died on 18th May. It was very very sad day for me that time. There is no horse that can replace her. She was very hardworking and fun to ride.

Last Wednesday my sister bought a new horse in KL. This horse was bought not to replace Coco but just to add another horse in our stable. The horse is a she. She was sold to us because the previous owner who was from New Zealand is going back to her hometown for good. She sold the horse for a good price. The horse is black in colour and she is only 5 years old. I tried riding her yesterday and it was nice. She is obedient but a little bit naughty at times. My sister named the horse Flicka and she got the idea from the movie 'Flicka'. If you haven't watch that movie, please watch it. You will enjoy the movie eventhough if you're not a horse lover.
Another horse of mine, which is a pony, around 12 hands high, is ill. Her name is Betty. She had a choke because she was clumsy when she eating. As a result, the food she ate cannot digest and she has no appetite to eat. She is still receiving treatment from doctor. She looks like dying. But there is still hope for her to live. Now she is lying down and cannot get up because she is too weak. Eventhough we tried pulling her up to make her stand up, she continued to lie down. My father told me there is a fifty fifty chance for her to live. Okay, see you soon.

Coco heatstroke

Thanks for visiting my blog again,

Yesterday my family was all here in Kelantan because my father invited his friends to come over to KB to have barbecue and golf. About 20 guest from KL came over and I think they had fun in Kelantan playing golf. We had the barbeque at night and it was enjoyable night. One of my father's friend brought his family and me and my sister gave them tour in KB. We went Pasar Siti Khatijah and they bought batik, serunding and keropok lekor. We had fun with them.

My horse named Coco was terribly ill yesterday. When we went back from KB, about 3pm, we saw Coco was restless. She looks like wanting to say something to us because she was following us in her paddock when we walk near her. Suddenly she loss control of herself and hit the tree and she fell down on the ground. My sister screamed loudly when she saw her falling down. She breathed rapidly and she looks damn tired. I immediately called for vet and ask him to come. I described the horse condition and the doctor told me to let the horse rest on the ground. He also asked us to pour alot of water on her to cool her body down. We suspected she's having heatstroke. It was a hot day. We always provide the horse enough water but it happens that this time she did not drink alot. So she can't sweat.

The doctor came quite late and we were angry about that because the horse looks like dying. It happens that my friend is studying medicine for 4 years and she knows how to treat human in this situation. She asked me to massage her, strech her legs, put soak cloth on the horse's face, etc. While waiting for doctor we try to give the horse to drink and finally she looks better. After 1 hour finally the doctor came and injected her with some medicine so that she goes to sleep. Then he injected intravenous so that she got back her energy by regaining electrolyte. We felt relieve when she looks better. The doctor confirmed that shes having heatstroke. We were advised by someone to put fan in her stable next time.

Today I saw Coco still lying in her stable. She still looks tired. I don't know what is going to happen to her. Hope she get well soon. I felt sad because I'm going to leave her later because I'm going to go back to school tonight. Okay, I'm going to show you some pictures. Sorry the pictures are unclear because it was taken using my phone, Dopod, and its an old phone.

Hopefully she'll be alright.

Wesak Day

Hello,

Today is Wesak day in Kelantan. I have been in Kelantan for about 4 months now and started to miss my hometown in KL so much. But I don't really feel bored staying in Kelantan because its my parents hometown and I'm used to it. Eventough theres no interesting places to go shop, I'm OK. Pity to my friends who come and study pilot here because they felt so bored. Just now I went pasar raya Bilal in Kubang Kerian and the things sold there are expensive! So better buy your things in Tesco if you in Kelantan.

I already clock 3 hours in my logbook flying with my instructor in Piper Warrior. I did until straight and level 2 last Thursday, and its very hard to maintain level altitude when theres turbulence. Hopefully I will be good at it one day. When I finished my lesson with my instructor, I had a little chat with him while flying. He ask me about my family, what my father work as, how many siblings I got and wheres my father's hometown. I told my father's hometown in Peringat and that time we were flying above Melor. Then he gave me control of the aircraft and ask me to fly to Peringat and show me my Grandpa's house. I was so excited and I flew there. I showed him wheres my granpa's house, my auntie's house and my own house which was just built. Then he take over the controls and ask me to snap pictures of my father's hometown. I was so excited and thank him for allowing me to do this. So he flew around Peringat few times before we go back to Kota Bharu airport. I was very happy to see how my dad's hometown looks like from above. That night I sent the photos of Peringat from above to my father's and my sister's email. They were amazed looking at the pictures.

That's all I want to say for today, its been a long time I did not update my blog. I don't expect anyone to read this because this is the first post for this year. The last time was last year. For those who already familiar with Peringat, I want to show the pictures taken from above. I know you can always see this from Google Earth but its not updated in there.

Okay, hope to see you soon.
