Farm Visit

Hello... It's been a long time I haven't posted anything. Actually I have alot of things that I wanted to post in my blog but I have no time to do it plus I am lazy. Now I have forgotten the things that I wanted to post in my blog. Nevermind, I'll just tell you about my visit to a farm which is run my father's friend. The farm is in Kelantan and there are alot of cows and horses.

I went to the the farm to shop for a horse there. After that, I learned how the cow's milk being squeeze out. They use a sucker powered by an electric motor to suck the cow's milk. I saw this before in TV but now I got to see it live. I also drank the fresh cow's milk and it tasted good. My father's friend did not charge us for the cow's milk.

There are alot of horses there and most of them are cross bred with Arab horses. I wanted to buy this horse(shown below) because it is so beautiful. The shape of her body is nice and the colour is nice as well. She is dappled grey in colour and she looks cool. The owner told me he wants to keep her for training to enter competition. I think she got potential to win competition because her body is muscular and strong.

In the end we decided to buy her mother named Mcqueen Runner, which is brown in colour. She is pregnant. She is carrying an Arab foal in her tummy. I really enjoyed riding her. She is hardworking and listen to rider's command. I don't have to pull the reins to make her stop while she is running, instead I just say 'halt' and she automatically stop. The owner gave her trophies to us after we bought her. She had won several competition in year 2002 and 2003 which are racing competition, endurance and jumping competition. She is quite a famous horse in Kelantan because when we mention her name to any of the horse enthusiast in Kelantan, they will start to talk how good the horse is. Alot of people already wanted to buy the horse to enter race competition so that they can win but the owner was afraid that people will challenge him later on and will use his horse for breeding. People are amazed we got to buy the horse. It is a waste that we are not going to use Mcqueen Runner to enter a race competiton. People say she runs so fast that we can't see her leg.

The horse in the picture below is a pure Arab horse and the owner told me this is the best horse he ever had. I believe him because everyone knows that Arab horses are very comfortable to ride. The horse's name is Pantheon. The horse never disobeyed rider's instruction and rarely being naughty. But Arab horse easily get shocked by anything. For example, the horse will start to run as fast as it can when it sees a transparent plastic bag flying across its path. The reason I'm showing this horse because this is the horse who mated with our Mcqueen Runner. But he already mated to other few hundreds mares, not Mcqueen alone.

Before we bring back our new horse, we put new horseshoes to Mcqueen Runner at equestrian club.

That is all that I want to say. Oh, I also want to show you one of many accidents I saw on the way to KL from KB. The accident was quite fatal.

My father told me that the bus company, 'Cepat' is owned by one of his friends.

I think its the truck fault. The truck is at the wrong lane, must be moving very fast.
